Who keeps track of time?

So.... I know it has been a while since I have last blogged. But, well, uh, I don't really have an excuse, so here is how our July and August have been. My rock star cousin Alisa and I went to the Carrie Underwood concert, which was a lot of fun! To be honest, doing anything with Alisa is fun, I am sure glad I could drag her to a Country Music concert. Thank You Drew for the tickets! And thanks Tommie for helping with the kids.

She really is a lot of fun to watch. I am a Carrie fan forever!

I am sure you guys have read Drews blog on how Anson broke his leg, if you have not, it is worth reading his "police report" on how the incident happend. He broke his leg but he loved all the attention he got from it. My parents came over every day for like a month and brought him treats, Pam sent us some fun toys for Anson (and Lorin) to do while he could not walk, Tara and the girls gave him a gift bag of some fun stuff for him to do, he got get well cards from his primary, and our neighbors, believe me, he got a lot of attention and he loved it! Thanks to all that gave our little guy love and support, it sure made it a lot easier to deal with for him and for me.

His neighbor friends came over with their legs bandaged up so they all scooted around on the floor with Anson. what good friends.

We spent the 24th with family, in the day time my dad and mom took Mindy, Tyson and I 4-wheeling, I had a lot of fun with my family. And then we went to my moms house for a bbq and then to our house for fire works!

The hardest thing about July is that I had to say goodbye to Mindy. They moved to Texas for Tyson to start Law School. Congrats for Mindy and Tyson, but we will miss them a TON!





So far August has been a good month. We were not expecting to go on a vacation this year, we just thought with Anson being in a cast it would be pointless to bring the kids to a pool or anywhere really. But to our surprise, Ansons cast came off two weeks early and so we decided on a last minute trip.

The first day of our vacation we went up to SLC and went to the Zoo! The kids loved it and so did I! That night we stayed in a hotel with a pool and had a lot of fun in the pool.

The next day we made our way down to Provo Canyon and stayed in my grandparents cabin, My Grandma always use to get mad at us putting our heads threw the poles, so just for her, I took a picture of my kids putting their heads threw. Love ya Grandma Jannie!

We had a lot of fun in the cabin, it was just so nice to be up there with the family. The cabin has been a great place for our whole family to go. We even got to see a lot of wild life like turkeys and peacocks. ha ha ha ha we saw a lot of BABY peacocks!

The next day we went to Deer Creek Beach, the sand was not as nice as it would be in CA, but this is as good as it gets here! So BEAUTIFUL! it was nice and hot and we got to play in the water too. the kids loved the huge "sand box" and Drew and I enjoyed every second with the kids.!

At the end of our Vacation we stopped by Baskin Robins for some ice cream! I love Jessie, she was so fun to watch eat a cone. she stuck her tongue out as far as she could to lick it, but decided to just shove the whole thing in her mouth.

I love vacations, I love being with Drew and our kids. We have really good kids, they were fun, they didn't fight, I don't want them go grow up, they are just too much fun at this age. Drew is back to work today, and I just miss us being all together. So now we are all caught up with our summer. school starts in two weeks, Anson is going to Kindergarten and Lorin is going to Pre-school. I am so sad and will miss my kids, but I am looking forward to the time that I can just be with Jessie!
