Sorry......

Sorry about not really Blogging. There is something wrong with our camera, it is hard to transfer the pictures to the computer, Drew knows how to do it, but I have not figured it out. And I hate blogging with no pictures to show. So I will give a very quick up-date. Anson and Lorin are getting over RSV. I think Anson is totally better, but Lorin still has it. So we really have not gone anywhere in risk of getting other kids sick. RSV is so horrible, I would feel bad if anyone else got it. But, we are all having fun together, Lorin is starting to walk, and Anson loves to color, paint and play with play dough, and Drew is working on the house. Dad, and Drew have been Mudding it, and it is almost ready for PAINT!!! If any of you have suggestions on what color I should paint my new living room, bedroom, and bathroom, please SHARE! I need suggestions......... No pressure to my friends who have good taste on decor. Picking out paint is not my "cup of tea" so please help. I will try to get some pictures posted soon.

Ooohhh, the best part about picking a color is reading the names of the colors. Who can resist names like "December Starlight" and "Enlightenment" The Lowe's website has a good interactive program with colors and such. Good luck!

Ok, I typed this once, then my computer crashed. BOO! HISS!

I picked up some color ideas at Walmart. For the family room -
Kilz Color J14 - Sugar Wafer - It looks a little yellow next to the other colors I also picked out and I'm not sure it will be enough of a change from the color in your current living room. But it is a pretty color. I also picked out Color Place card 522 - Oats, Sesame and Brazillian Tan. I love all these colors and tan is in. I think Sesame may have too much "peach" in it but I love the other two.

I wasn't sure what you had in mind for your bedroom, so I picked out what I would put on my walls if I hard the $$ to do my room over. Since your bedroom has a lot of available natural light, pretty much anything will look good on the walls. I picked out Color Place card 648. I love Grey Ocean - it's a Grayish-purple. I know that sounds weird but it is really pretty. The "Harebell" would look great as an accent wall - the wall you see when you walk in the door.

For the bathroom, I picked out Kilz Colors C13 "Guacamole Dip" - which is a light, yellow-y sage. Pretty similar in fact to the color of my bathroom upstairs. I also picked out a coordinating color - Kilz C20 "Sea Green" (not what you think!) which is a meduim sage. I think they would look fab in the bathroom.

If you want to stay safe in any of the rooms, I also picked out Color Place 326 English Ivory. It's also a "yellow" so probably "Oats" should also be considered a safe color. It's more neutral than the Ivory.

I wanted to pick out a blue for your bathroom but not to go with a purple bedroom so let me know what you decide! Go pull the color swatches at Walmart and hang a few up!!

Um, are you going to get any comments after Amy's? Clearly she's been thinking about this for a while...

My only suggestion - bright colors. Why be boring? Plus you need something Drew can appreciate.

But you already know that from us. We do have a pink room.
