At least one of us is sleeping

It has been over two weeks now that Anson has been sleeping threw the night. So that is the good news. The bad news is, I am not. Before I was prego (with Anson) I could not sleep well, ever since I can remember sleeping has not been my strong point. I forgot about it because when you are pregnant... well for at least the first few months you sleep like a log! And there is the new born stage, where you sleep none, and the stage we just got out of, waking up three or four times at night. Now is my chance to finally catch up on A LOT of lost sleep, and I cannot. I lay in bed listening to Drew sleep, tossing and turning, rearranging my pillows, taking my covers off, putting them back on, trying everything to just feel comfie. And nothing. Finally I went into the office and played computer games, free cell, and layed down on the guest bed, I was up when Anson woke up at 5:30am for a bottle, after his bottle I layed down again, and I thingk a mirracle happend, I got an hour of sleep, thanks to Drew, who watched Anson. So for the past week or more, I am running on two to three hours of sleep a night. Poor Drew, I am sure he can tell I am tired, Poor Anson, I am sure he can tell I am tired too. So if anyone has any tips on how to sleep, I am open, I will try anything, even though I am sure I have tried everything in the book. Oh well, life goes on. Besides I think Anson is getting sick, he has nasty green boogers in his nose, and he is not happy, he just likes to cuddle and moap around the house. But he is sleeping threw the night, so that is AWESOME NEWS!!

I always sleep better on a full stomach, have a good pillow, and use my sleep machine, but I don't know if that's much help. A guy at work today was telling me last week he bought a $20 pillow at Walmart, it has down and memory foam, he has never slept so good. (He talked and talked about it in fact.)

I also know several Mathematics professors who could put a living caffiene monster to sleep. Maybe I could get them to tape a few classes for you.

Sorry you're having trouble sleeping.... been there for many years. But what I found that helps is meletonin. Your body produces it naturally, but some of us don't produce enough. One tab 30 minutes before you go to bed. It may take a few days to get you regulated, and the great thing is once you are sleeping through the night, you don't have to take it on a regular basis anymore. Just when you lapse back into not sleeping well. It doesn't make you drowsy, just helps you go to sleep and stay asleep. Good luck!

I was going to tell you to try Melatonin as well. I used it before I got pregnant with Evan and it worked very well without the grogginess Tylenol PM leaves you with...
